5-Aminolevulinic Acid (hereinafter, 5-ALA) is a natural amino acid that has been present on Earth since its formation over 3.6 billion years ago and is considered deeply involved in the origin of life, thus referred to as the “source of life” substance. Without 5-ALA, we would not be able to obtain energy, making it indispensable for life. Recently, it has gained significant attention, especially for its health support benefits.
