New Release of ‘Mitochon Power Liquid,’ a Mixed Feed with Photosynthetic Bacteria Culture Liquid for Livestock and Poultry

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka, CEO: Kazuhiro Takada) are pleased to announce the release of ‘Mitochon Power Liquid,’ a liquid mixed feed containing 5-ALA (5-aminolevulinic acid), a functional amino acid derived from natural sources, starting December 15, 2020.
‘Mitochon Power Liquid’ is a liquid mixed feed that includes 5-ALA, a functional amino acid that is involved in energy production within mitochondria and is a component of cytochromes and hemoglobin which transport oxygen in red blood cells.
Together, both companies aim to contribute to the improvement of productivity in livestock and poultry by launching ‘Mitochon Power Liquid’ alongside the powder-type ‘Mitochon Power’ that has been on sale since 2018.
About ‘Mitochon Power Liquid’
‘Mitochon Power Liquid’ is a natural-based liquid mixed feed that incorporates 5-ALA (5-aminolevulinic acid). 5-ALA is a naturally occurring amino acid in animals that is deeply involved in metabolism within the mitochondria. When eight molecules of 5-ALA gather and bind with iron, they form ‘heme.’ Heme is an essential component of cytochromes necessary for energy production within mitochondria and, when combined with globin, assists in the transport of oxygen within red blood cells.
