KIYAN PHARMA Co., Ltd. (formerly Neopharma Japan Co., Ltd.) was established in May 2016. In October of the same year, it acquired the Fukuroi Plant from API Corporation, gaining the capacity and facilities for mass production of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA). This initiative reduced production costs and established a foundation for expansion into various fields such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, feed, and fertilizers.

KIYAN PHARMA’s Fukuroi Plant was established by Roche Japan Co., Ltd. as the world’s largest manufacturing base for vitamin B2 raw material.
May 2016
KIYAN PHARMA Co., Ltd. (formerly Neopharma Japan Co., Ltd.) was established.
October 2016
KIYAN PHARMA acquired the Fukuroi Plant from API Corporation, enabling mass production of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA).
